Wonderland in the Cards

Step into Wonderland, where the cards are flying and nothing is quite what it seems!

Wonderland in the Cards is a one-of-a-kind hand-cut wooden jigsaw puzzle featuring Alice surrounded by a whirlwind of playing cards against a wonderfully nostalgic woodland background.

Rich reds, soft blues, and warm vintage tones give the artwork the charm of an illustration discovered in a well-loved storybook. It's a delightful scene filled with imagination, movement, and just a touch of Wonderland mischief.

The Art of Hand Cutting

Don't let the modest 108-piece count fool you!

Every piece is individually cut by hand on a scroll saw, creating an irregular pattern of curves, twists, and unexpected connections. There are no computer-generated cutting patterns, no laser cutting, and no predictable grid to guide the solver.

At approximately 8" × 5.5", the puzzle's relatively small pieces add another layer to the challenge. Finding the right connections requires careful observation and a willingness to embrace a little Wonderland unpredictability.

A Puzzle You Can Feel

Adding to the experience is a subtle raised relief texture across the surface of the puzzle.

Unlike a heavily sculpted surface, this texture is intentionally delicate. The effect may be difficult to appreciate fully in photographs, but it becomes apparent when handling the individual wooden pieces.

As you search, turn, and fit the pieces together, your fingertips encounter gentle variations across the artwork. This tactile quality adds another dimension to the solving experience without overwhelming the illustration itself.

The combination of vintage-inspired artwork, individually hand-cut wooden pieces, and a subtly textured surface makes this a puzzle meant to be experienced as much as completed.
